Almudena de la Mata, CEO of Blockchain Intelligence, participated on January 14, in the Digital Humanism Forum, organized at the School of Industrial Organization (EOI) to talk about Blockchain Perspectives: Digital Identity and Cryptocurrencies, during its 12th session.
During the conference, De la Mata assured that “Blockchain does not prevent lying, but it discourages it”. She addressed the possibilities that blockchain offers for a fairer society and also the risks that may arise. In addition, de la Mata talked about several use cases and explained the possibility of using blockchain to encourage citizen behaviors that contribute to the circular economy or the improvement of air quality, as in DivAirCity.
