DeFi paradox: the necessary centralization of decentralized finance

The so-called decentralized finance (Decentralized Finance, DeFi) is characterized by the use of protocols on blockchains, the most widespread form of distributed ledger technology (hereinafter, DLT, an acronym for Distributed-Ledger Technology), to support the trade of cryptoassets, in special stable cryptocurrencies (stablecoins).
